Clubhouse construction begins

We have great news:  There is construction progress!

Howard Sulke, General Contractor,  posts building permit

Construction crew digs footer

The clubhouse building permit was issued by Citrus county on October 19th and construction is underway.  Southeastern Structures started digging and forming the building’s footer on October 26th.  The rough plumbing has since been completed and temporary electric installed. We are looking forward to seeing the conduit for electric go in soon and additional progress follow.

When Southeastern Structures built the clubhouse for Nature Coast Landings RV Resort, they only took 91 days to complete it.  We are hoping for a similar schedule here.

  • Fall copies of the Nature Coast Visitor’s Guide are available in the office

  • Check out the schedule for Word of Life Gospel Production concerts (Hudson, FL) including the Sights and Sounds of Christmas Nov. 23-Dec. 9.

  • Homosassa Wildlife park presents Celebration of Lights Dec. 20-24

Chassa Oaks News Highlight

Progress continues  as we look toward the busy winter season.  The clubhouse construction is finally underway after a series of minor but frustrating delays getting our building permit.

We had a great time at our first official activity, a reception for Owners and Friends on Saturday, October 27th.  Our friends, Ed and Corine at the Golf Driving Range were our hosts for the afternoon.  More on the party  later in the newsletter.  Beth Heavener was the creative force behind this gathering and she did a great job!  Thanks, Beth.

It looks like we’ll have a busy winter

season.  Many inquiries for sales information are coming in by phone, email, and  visits. We have our first winter renters and are expecting this to be a good season for owners wanting to rent. And, lots #32 and #1 will have new owners in January.

Chassa Oaks RV Resort was featured in the winter issue of  the “The Nature Coast  Visitors Guide” which is great for the resort.  The article is reprinted later in this newsletter.

Have you seen the new logo and brochure?  We now have oak trees and a whooping crane on the logo, better representing the resort and the area.
